That, and one of our friends from Queensland flew down to Melbourne for a seriously whirlwind trip on the weekend!  It was so nice to hang out and catch up, and even though the weather was horrible and kind of sapped us of our motivation to go out and show him Melbourne, I hope he still had a good time.
Are you as glad as I am that May is nearly over?

I love sunsets. The end.
The last week was pretty crazy hectic {feels like it anyway}.  I was completely exhausted and I had a serious major meltdown on Wednesday night after being told at 5pm by my boss that I had to go to court {and do my first ever court appearance} at 9am the next day, on a file I’d never even heard of before.  All I had to do was ask the judge to delay the proceedings but still, holy moses it was nerve wracking.
There were dinner dates, amazing roast dinners, coffee dates and window shopping adventures with Debbie, delicious desserts…
…and some happy kitty snaps. Â Aren’t they darlings??
I got a bit addicted to blue skies….sadly, they were all taken through my disgusting and filthy windscreen {which I have now cleaned!}. Â I don’t even really care, because I am so in love with the blueness of the sky! It’s been raining here a lot, which has probably made it extra sweet to see the sun shining and blue skies blasting their happiness at the world.

Can’t believe it is May already!!! We are moving into Winter here in Melbourne and it’s getting so cold! Missing the Queensland sunshine

I managed to catch a rainbow on my way to work one morning, eat healthy for most of the week during lunch, was inspired to get creative and made a nice, soft cover for my camera strap as well as a handbag insert to protect my camera {finally!}, played with some beautiful kitties, made chocolate crackles for the first time in over a decade {yum!}, watched a pretty sunset and made the best pancakes ever.
